After I graduated I had no clue what I wanted to do. I couldn’t seem to find a job which suited me – but hey, I need to pay rent!

That’s when I decided to take one of my hobbies a bit more serious. Webdesign.

Over the past few years I had been playing around making websites for friends – all based on Youtube tutorials. I decided to go all-in on webdesign. Best decision ever.

Today, 5 years (and many websites) later, I think I kind of figured out how to build solid websites FAST.

Websites you can easily sell for $3000 or more. 🤓

How to create a website which requires zero coding experience

💻 How to build a complete website in less than 20 hours

🚀 How to earn cash quick, by building websites at the speed of light

LET’S START

THE BORING PART

Step 1 – The boring part (2 hours) 😴

I assume you want your website to be visited by thousands of people around the world. Or at least one person that’s not you 😅

That’s why you need to publish your website on the world wide web. You can do this by getting a hosting company to publish your website. Over the past 5 years I’ve tried dozens of hosting companies.

Why did I switch that much? Because many of them suck.

Many web hosting companies are only after your money and don’t care if your website gets hacked or has bugs. Sure, they’ll look into it – for a few hundred bucks.

But one of them caught my attention.

I’ve experienced this web hosting company to be extremely helpful. They have a 24/7 support which helps you with basically everything. Alongside, they’re cheap too!

Here’s how you get started:

  1. Pick a domain name

Open up tab (1) – publishing your website to the world.

Figure out a cool name for your website.

  1. Pick a hosting plan

I’d recommend starting with the cheapest package. It will allow you to host up to 5 websites – at no extra costs!

  1. Install WordPress

Once you have your hosting plan, you can install WordPress with 1 click.

WordPress is a content management system which allows you to build a website. Over 75 million websites are built with WordPress worldwide. It’s free – and awesome!

THE SETUP

Step 2 – The setup (2 hours) 💪

Now you’re ready to publish your website to the world, it’s time to get you all set up.

5 years ago this meant learning html, css and javascript. Learning all of this easily takes over a year of full time studying.

You’re lucky that it’s 2019.

It’s time to go to the second tab I asked you to open:

(2) This tool will make you look like a web designer instantly

This tool is a top notch drag and drop website builder. I’ve started using it 2 years ago, and I’m never going back.

It allows you to build a website using a drag and drop website builder. It’s easy and very intuitive – even people with ZERO web design skills will have an easy time creating something cool.

While you’re playing around and creating awesome things, this tool will convert it into high quality html/css/javascript.

That’s right, they’re doing the hard part for you.

SPY THE COMPETITION

 Step 3 – Spy the competition (2 hours) 👀

I’m not sure what type of website you’re planning to build (or sell). It could be a:

In any way, I’ve got some good news for you.

You don’t have to figure out what your website should look like all by yourself. Have a look at websites who are similar to the one you’re planning to build.

Check out at least 10 websites and write down the things you like – and don’t like. This will help you to create a slick design in just a few hours.

To get you started, I’ve created an overview of have a look at these free templates.

WRITE YOUR TEXTS

Step 4 – Write your texts (5 hours) ⌨

By now you should have an idea what your website is going to look like.

Now it’s time to write the texts you can put on your website. How you should go about this depends on who the website is for.

Is it a website for a client? Ask them to write the texts for their website. Are you building a website for yourself? Or is your client lazy? 😉 Write the texts yourself!

Again, look at the texts of similar websites for some inspiration.

GET IMAGES

Step 5 – Get royalty free high quality images (2 hours) 📷

Now your texts are ready, it’s time to get some appealing images. Adding a few high quality images on your website instantly improves the look & feel of your design!

I do have a small warning for you..

Don’t simply download images from Google. I’ve had friends who did this, and got fined a few months later. Make sure your images are royalty free.

Here are a few sources for high quality royalty free images:

PAGE BUILDING

Step 6 – Page building (7 hours) ⚒
