👋 My Experience With Museum Web Design
Hi – it’s Ralph here 👋 In the past 10 years, I’ve designed 5+ websites for musems. What I learned over the years building websites for museums:
1. Events and Programs
I suggest adding an easy-to-access event calendar for your events. Programs, and workshops. With this type of system, people can easily check the availability of the place and visit in their free time.
2. Educational Resources
Of course, as a museum website, you need to add educational resources on the website to entertain the viewers. I suggest adding visual aids such as videos, posters, and high-quality photos.
3. Multilingual Support
I highly recommend adding a language option to your museum website. Adding this option will widen the reach of your website and gain more traffic from different countries.
Focus on this, and you’ll be fine.
PS: I suggest taking a look at the website examples below. Get inspired by their designs and see which website builders they’ve used. Best of luck!
