👋 My Experience With Blog Web Design
Hi – it’s Ralph here 👋 In the past 10 years, I’ve designed 10+ websites for bloggers. What I learned over the years building websites for bloggers:
1. Visual hierarchy
Organize items in such a way that visitors’ attention will be immediately drawn to the most important ones first. Use an appropriate heading that will help the readers navigate through the content. I also recommend using appropriate images and videos that aligns with the content to further attract readers.
2. Homepage design
Your homepage is considered to be the door to your virtual space. Make it visually appealing in order to draw attention to the best articles or the newest posts that were made on the blog.
3. Keep your site simple
As a blogger, your site can include several articles and blogs that covers different topics. I recommend keeping your site clean and avoid unnecessary elements that might overwhelm your readers. I also recommend adding a section with articles that tackles the same subject in the website.
Focus on this, and you’ll be fine.
PS: I suggest taking a look at the website examples below. Get inspired by their designs and see which website builders they’ve used. Best of luck!
