The best barber website examples

Selected for you in a clean list. We’ve crawled the web and looked at the best websites of 2022. After visiting countless websites and making some hard decisions we listed the best 31 best barber websites of 2023.

1. Bonefade Barbers

URL: https://www.bonefadebarbers.com/

New York’s renowned Bonefade Barbers is stylish offline and online. Their website uses an interplay of script and bold typography with large, crisp imagery. This is cast against bluish-gray and black backgrounds with a clean layout. I just like the way these all came out in one coherent design that is welcoming to visitors of the website. Most notable is their “Book Online” call-to-action that is generously repeated throughout the page without appearing intrusive to viewers.

Al’s Barber Shop has a black-and-white theme for its website. A classic, the website has a static, non-scrollable landing page containing one image and links on a top menu to its various sections. It offers a lot of information about them including news on media write-ups and an online booking form. The Denver-based barber shop, founded two decades ago by Al Urbanowski, is renowned for its excellence in men’s grooming, haircutting, and styling.

3. Mustache Barbershop

URL: http://mustachebarbershop.com/

Cute is how I describe Mustache Barbershop’s website, much like their company’s unique name. They have a neon-light effect for the logo that is set against a black background, giving it a powerful yet professional appeal. They have a call-to-action “Book Now” button that is set where it should be: at the upper right-hand corner of the screen, which is a strategic position that first catches the attention of website visitors.

  • Nice color scheme

4. Boardroom Saloon

URL: https://boardroomsalon.com/

Board Room Styling Lounge is located in eight American states and boasts of providing a high-end experience beyond that of an ordinary barber shop. It prides itself for transforming “masculine styling” by almost two decades already. Thus, Board Room Styling Lounge’s website personifies this masculinity through bold and big typography matched with a black background and large imagery. The layout has a magazine feel and highlights customer testimonials through a simple scrolling animation. Good job to the designer!

What you can learn from this great barber website example:

  • Great eye-grabbing images

Ludlow Blunt

5. Ludlow Blunt

URL: http://ludlowblunt.com/

Ludlow Blunt’s website doesn’t have much have words, just pricing, contact, and a link to their Instagram account. But its content–a white logo at the center and a video tour of the shop as background–says it all. This barber shop at Brooklyn’s Wythe Avenue is surely breathtaking in its 1940s concept. The detail integrated into each furniture and fixture to incorporate emblems and icons of that era is truly beautiful. No need to say that they offer traditional barbershop services from trims to shaves but with a little extra: colors. Great work!

What you can learn from this great barber website example:
  • Fewer words more visuals
  • Virtual tour of the shop

Barber Blades, located in UK’s South Wales, has a unique website for its unconventional design, features, and content. The website focuses more on the sale of grooming products–including furniture–online, which they can deliver globally. Besides having a blog on how to open your own barbershop business, Barber Blades offers a live chat feature on the website that I have not seen with other similar businesses online.

8. Jack the Clipper

URL: https://jacktheclipper.co.uk/

Turkish Master Barber Halil Ismail founded Jack The Clipper in 1996 around the story of legendary 1888 London serial killer Jack The Ripper. Its odd homage to this cruel murderer has made its first store in London’s Toynbee Street a landmark and tourist attraction with its “Ripper Tour.” Famed for brilliant “cuts as sharp as our wit,” the website was able to integrate all its brand elements using earthen palettes minus the gore Jack The Ripper is known for. Plus, it uses minimal but useful effects and provides online booking and shopping for gift vouchers on various services.

9. Junior and Hatter

URL: https://juniorandhatter.com/

Florida’s Junior & Hatter is a reservations-based salon that’s strictly online booking. They are straightforward in conducting business, which you can outrightly sense on their website. Using a minimalist design, I liked how the website highlighted their stylists and even provided their respective social media accounts for ease of communicating with them. Unique to their website is a Frequently Asked Questions section that is headlined informally but formulated with professional responses.

10. Original Barbershop

URL: https://originalbarbershop.nyc/

The Original Barber Shop of New York City was founded by Greg Sysoyev in October 2015 with the vision of providing an old-fashioned barbershop for “great haircuts and shaves.” Similarly, their website is classic in its use of much white background and big images interspersed with gold in its design. The website has an online booking form, uses ample call-to-action, and even integrates its social feed. They also have an online shop for merchandise and salon after-care products.

11. Rocket Barbershop

URL: https://rocketbarbershop.co.uk/

Rocket Barber Shop has a very simple and clean website. Central to its design is the booking of appointments in its various London branches presented in black and white photos with a “Book” call-to-action. While an extra large photo of French fries shaped as “Rocket Barber Shop” served on a plate with catsup acts as a header for its services that are enlisted in a menu format. Witty!

12. Churchill’s

URL: https://www.churchillsbarbershop.com/

Churchill’s Barber Shop solely occupies a vintage building in Downtown Miami’s 1st Street. The building’s pristine white facade and interiors are matched with heavy, dark furniture resplendent of the 1920s. All these convey Churchill’s goal to provide “upscale tonsorial services for distinguished gentlemen.” This imagery of what the company stands for is highlighted on its website through a similar black-and-white theme. The website distinctly features the products used in their shop and even has an online store for it along with gentlemen’s accessories.

  • Nice images

The company’s website–designed with a black-and-white minimalist theme–is an online shop of their products suited for “every man from all walks of life.” This range from creams to sprays and body wash, which are available individually and in sets, as well as, vegan-friendly varieties.

14. Huckle The Barber

URL: https://www.hucklethebarber.com/

Celebrating its 10th year, Huckle The Barber coins itself as “the 21st Century traditional barbers” in a “relaxed, modern setting.” The company’s classic website of black-and-white is unique in that quotable quotes from media interviews were used as elements of design. Besides the black-and-white photos of their team members arranged in columns and rows, I also like their blog, which contains various interviews with staff, clients, and industry personalities. Very interesting!

Posh and friendly are two words that perfectly describe the Scissors & Scotch shop and website. It uses red earthen tones for its color palette of design elements paired with sharp, huge photos and large, clear fonts. Interesting aspects of the website are the simple scrolling animation of customer testimonials highlighted with a 5-star rating and 4K+ Google Reviews and a video tour of their shop. Nice work!

16. New York Barbershop

URL: https://www.newyorkbarbershop.nl/

The New York Barbershop, established in 1884, has a uniquely-designed website. It has a very vintage feel with its sepia background photo interspersed with various white-colored typography and fixed top and bottom header. The top header is in a gray 3D bevel effect and the bottom header is a flat dark gray curve accentuated with the shop booking number, social media links, and product accreditation. The menu on the top header pop-ups on mouse-over along with the company’s logo, which links back to the main page. Pretty neat!

17. Nomad Barber

URL: https://www.nomadbarber.com/

Nomad uses a minimalist design for its website. This London-based barber shop’s website highlights its YouTube Channel where it releases its “Webseries.” Besides having an admin section on its website that requires login access for users, they have a booking form for each of its branches. They have recently moved to a new location–probably the reason for their company’s name–in London’s Hackney Road. Though their Berlin shop is situated in the same location it was opened six years ago.

Scrolling the website downward pulls up its various sections, which float as a collage of black-and-white photos and text. Even their contact form is a floating one! The designer maximized the space by including the store hours, address, and social linkages in the contact form! Neat!

An information-filled website, I find most interesting is the section on its history, which is complete with photos of when it was founded as the Pall Mall Toilet Saloon. Lucky’s Barber Shop envisions “gentlemen’s grooming with pride and precision.” Lucky’s website makes use of the company’s branding colors of green and white against a black background. Loud is more of the right word to describe the website’s use of texts and images, making it appealing and easy to read. The white fonts change to chrome brown on mouseover along with a change in the background photo, which zooms in on the page like a video. Suds must be the simplest yet most fashionable way a company website can be presented. The menu is non-conventional in that it is written as large white text vertically on the screen against a black-and-white photo background. The menu’s texts become black on mouseover and the background image disappears revealing only white empty space. Speaking of images, they use a handful but captivating ones. They have a call-to-action button for “Booking” set strategically in the upper right-hand corner.
