👋 My Experience With Elementor Web Design
Hi – it’s Ralph here 👋 In the past 10 years, I’ve designed 25+ websites for Elementor. What I learned over the years building websites for Elementor:
1. Incorporate Dynamic Content
Customize your pages with Elementor advanced widgets to make the content dynamic and appealing to the target audience. This can involve such elements as dynamic tags, custom fields, and integration with other programs. As a web designer, I use this feature to pique the interest of the visitors and retain them.
2. Responsive Design
Make sure that your website is fully responsive, with no issues on different browsers or devices. It has features to help you adapt the design to the screen size, which makes the website viewed competently on a laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
3. Interactive Elements
Using such elements as forms, pop-ups, and some animation to increase the interest of the users. These are features that are quite easy to integrate in Elementor to enhance your site without coding and I highly encourage you to use them.
Focus on this, and you’ll be fine.
PS: I suggest taking a look at the website examples below. Get inspired by their designs and see which website builders they’ve used. Best of luck!

Checklist: 5 ways to make your Elementor website beautiful and highly converting
1. Use video footage to make your website come alive
In the list with website examples, you found some cool websites which use a video background in the header of their website. If you have video footage yourself, definitely consider doing this as well.
- It makes your website come alive
- It adds credibility and makes you look professional
2. Use a ‘smart lead form’ to turn visitors into clients
Getting someone to visit your website is one thing. Getting them to do business with you is the next one.
Sure, you can add your contact information to your website – you should – but don’t expect people to be calling right away.
Make it easy. Add a ‘discuss your project’ contact form to enable them to get in touch with you.
Make it as easy as possible. I recommend not using more than 3 fields in your contact form.
3. Watch people using your website without telling them what to do
Once your website is ready it’s time to launch. Well, almost.
Invite some friends or colleagues and put them in front of a computer. Ask them to pretend to be potential customers and have them visit your website.
Now sit next to them, and don’t say anything (this will be harder than you think).
Do this with at least 5 people and learn from their behavior:
- Did they follow the steps you expected them to?
- Did your website load fast enough?
- Was everything clear to them?
4. Don’t confuse your visitor with too many call to actions
Great call to actions draw the attention of your visitors.
That said, you don’t want your call-to-action buttons fighting for the attention of your visitor. Pick the most important call to action for that page, and go with it.
In case you want to show multiple call to actions anyway, make sure to give them a different design, with your primary call to action being the most notable one.
5. Don’t break the 5 second rule
The moment a visitor lands on your website you only have 5 seconds to make a good impression.
That’s 5 short seconds to convince your visitor to stay on your website – and don’t hit the ‘back’ button.
Make sure the text on your website is appealing and gets your visitor excited. Don’t waste the first 5 seconds of somebody’s visit with unnecessary fluff.
Elementor Growth hacking: how to promote an Elementor Website in 5 steps
1. Go viral with a viral give-away
Imagine.
You send your website to 5 friends. Who each sends it to 5 friends.
Now, these friends also send it to 5 friends. Oeh la la! Continue this loop for a while, and your website is actually going viral.
Viral Loops is a referral marketing tool that helps you to explode your website with new visitors.
We’ve used Viral loops to create virality with multiple websites. It allows you to build a sustainable referral scheme that helps you to grow your website rapidly.
2. Target hot traffic with retargeting ads
Imagine.
A potential client is looking for your services and stumbled upon your website. But after scrolling through your website for 30 seconds, he or she got a phone call from a friend. After calling for 20 minutes they forgot about your website and they close down their computer.
Auch.
That’s why I use retargeting advertisements to bring back these lost leads.
This will enable you to display advertisements to people who visited your website.
Just install a Facebook pixel on your website to target all your website visitors with an advertisement on Facebook or Instagram.
3. Use a LinkedIn-bot to generate traffic on autopilot
Allright. You’re now probably thinking one of two things:
- That sounds spammy. I’m not going to do that.
- A bot? How does that even work? I’m not a scientist.
Trust me, I thought the same as you. But it’s not as sketchy as it seems.
Dux-Soup is a LinkedIn tool that allows you to ‘look’ at 100 LinkedIn profiles per day.
This tool automatically visits LinkedIn profiles of people of your choice. In the past, I’ve used this a lot to get in touch with business owners.
I would have Dux-Soup open the profiles of 100 business owners per day.
It’s actually pretty simple:
- Download the Dux-Soup tool
- Open your LinkedIn account
- Search for ‘business owner’ or any other job description’
- Click the ‘Visit profiles’ button.
Now here comes the important part: Make sure your LinkedIn profile is optimized.
This means:
- A good looking profile picture
- A good tagline that describes what you do
- A great profile description that demonstrates your skills as a constructor
- Some nice portfolio projects on your LinkedIn profile
Let’s say 20% of every profile visit converts into a ‘return-visit’. That will mean 20 potential business owners who look at your LinkedIn profile every day.
That’s 600 potential leads in a month.
4. Do a press release
Yaiks! A press release? That’s not for small businesses, right?
Well. It is actually. Journalists LOVE small businesses and the entrepreneurs behind them. It makes sense – if you’re at a birthday party, friends are probably always asking how your business is doing.
Everybody loves entrepreneurs.
Write a press release about a milestone your company achieved. It doesn’t really matter what it is your company did, just make it juicy and interesting.
Create a list of journalists and reach out to them. The key in this process is the follow-up. If you’re just sending them just one email you’re probably not going to have a lot of success. Remind them at least once within a period of 7 days.
Being featured by local news outlets actually is good for your seo. The more websites mentioning you on their website, the higher you’ll rank in the search engine.
5. Use paid advertising
Yes. This one is super obvious. But when used well this can be the biggest source of quick growth for your business. Let’s say every client brings you $100 in profit. And let’s say 1 out of every 100 clients becomes a client. That means you’re allowed to spend $1 to acquire a website visitor.
Now let’s say you’re running Facebook ads and you only pay $0.60 for a visitor.
That means you’re profiting $0.40 on every person who visits your website. I’d say, start spending on paid advertising!
